Apple Auto Glass Repairs

Apple Auto Glass Burlington location offers replacements and repairs of windshields, side glass and mechanical electrical repairs including side mirrors and defroster repairs. Whether your wind shield has a  crack, chip, split we reinstall with  urethane sealant if a repair is not possible. We also offer wind  water leak repairs.  We carry and install Reflex and Bosch wipers.

Tips

bulletTo allow your side windows to operate faster we wax both inner and outer surfaces of the side windows. This will greatly reduce friction on the seals. Don't do the windshield though as it will fog when wet with any wax applied.
bulletIf condensation on the inside of the windows is a concern see this page.
bulletMost rear view mirrors can be adjusted from both a pivot point at the glass and behind the mirror itself. This will allow the mirror to be adjusted as much as 3" side to side and up and down.

TIP

bulletYes that blotchy back or side window is normal. Check out this late model Mercedes.

TIP on the 95 up Cabrio:

bulletIf your door latch sticks in the winter and the door won't latch until the car warms up don't panic this is a relative easy fix. It is probably caused from lubricants swelling the rubber stop. I found that when this would happen you could take your finger and put the latch into the locked position but when closing the door against the striker it wont latch. The only logical explanation was the rubber stop was not allowing the striker to rotate the latch closed. I used a die grinder to remove some of the rubber out of the hole.
