To further their safety conscious approach to replacing your windshield, Apple Auto Glass at the Burlington location uses the appropriate adhesives and primers. Body deterioration and rust can be repaired at the customer request by sandblasting.
We’re not just windshields anymore. We offer in house window tinting and sunroofs and other accessories such as Roll n’ Lock brand Tonneau covers. We also offer upholstery repairs. This can mean a new headliner glued into position or a convertible top installed or a seat panel sewn in. We mig-weld in house and if your seat is bent or leaning or if the springs are broken we can do this type of work. And we do it ever day.
One service that some might not expect Apple Auto Glass to specialize in is water leak repairs. That may be because this type of service is not an off the shelf type of service. When we take on this type of repair we always approach it from a fresh point of view. Very seldom is the leak on a customer’s car just like the one before it and assuming that it is can be a mistake. With hundreds of inches of seams to inspect and rule out this can take time to diagnose and repair.
A niche market that we cater to is custom motorcycle saddles. This is an extension of our auto upholstery work. We cater to customers quite literally all over the world via the Internet but more often Canada and the USA.

Comment: Many people ask what kind of auto glass we carry. They never ask the name of the manufacturer of the upholstery we carry. I think this is because they realize that the end result is in the hands of the workman. We carry brands that you would recognize like PPG but in a recent court case on dumping it became very clear that even PPG doesn't make its own product. It seems locations like the Chinese have cheap labor and the general public want their goods cheap. Any way so much for my rant. We also do upholstery and auto glass on new cars and old.
All glass is of equal quality designated by the AS1 label. Being laminated is pretty much a given in this day and age. Laminated glass is made of layers of glass surrounding a tough plastic film that absorbs energy from an impact and prevents pieces of glass from breaking loose. We are Burlington's only CAA approved and Government of Ontario licensed auto glass repair and replacement shop.
